The more that I thought of this, it seems if rob or jared or even caleb would of started this thread you never would of commented the way you did here and you would of told them it was "cool".You need to let things go that you have against me, the hatred and the negativity, it's really getting old.
You learn from you dad, well for you thats your thing, but me, I'd rather get professional advice and have someone tell me truthfully what needs to be improved.I went to have a good time and learn and I did just that |
or EVEN caleb?! WHATS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?! lol jk kristen
Man... I had the craziest longest dream ever last night...
I logged onto my computer andddd I had an email, checked it, was from SR... went to their website and everything was back up and normal but points had all multiplied by 10, I had like 85000 points and my goal was like 45000... and I was no longer a moderator or anything... aaand... Idk it was sweet having SR back though lol. I woke up, checked starvingracers.com.... nothin :'( |

greetings wing wow thats so cool you did that my friend went to one at grandview speedway a few years back. I got to go with him and his family and it was so neat to watch. I'm going next year just to try it out
and I read what that other person wrote and I have to disagree it's always nice to get those extras in to the knowledge of racing being self taught is ok but to learn you need guidance.good luck this year |

I agree that you don't have to go to school to be a good driver. The only thing I was saying was that the schools are not a waste of money if you have the extra cash. You will learn something even if you discover that you've wasted your money.HA-HA You might even have a little fun. I have fun at Nascar Speedpark and that's $32 bucks for an all day pass. There I learned that some karts are extremely faster than others, so pick a good one while your waiting in line. _________________ J.D. Green

I have to say I think wing made a excellent choice in her decision making in this matter. When you go to something like the racing school, your getting that extra edge that no one else can get by seat time alone or even trying to learn by racing every weekend.
If someone wants to do something they want to do, well to me thats a excellent decision. Nothing is ever a waste of money, if if helps you to acheive what you need to learn to make it more enjoyable and even gratifying
She seemed to like going and just wanted to share what she did, just leave it at that. No one should ever knock someone elses ideas, feelings or what they love to do. If that was the case, my brother never would of raced |

I must say, after reading this thread... wow!
Alright before I state my opinion I looked at this open minded and picked no side in the end.
First off I seen Spino's comment as just his opinion on driving schools, Kristen it seemed to me like you took it as an attack on you.
Second, always read things online with an open mind... you can't tell what someones really trying to come off and say.
Lastly, stop your bickering! Both of you! You do know that you can just ignore a post without having to reply to it and dragging it out right? We all know you guys don't like each other, so the arguing and smartazz remarks don't need to happen! Simple as that! _________________ John Schoebel

I was wondering, why a response was said that was actually stated like a unnessessary comment.Wing got some nice feedback from others and then racerboy came on and said "dont need school to racing, in my opinion waste of cash, best way to learn is on the track, and for mods all you do is put it in high gear and go"
for someone to come out and say that actually was not needed, opinion or not. Keeping somethings inside is much better in some situations than this. When someone is happy or excited just leave it at that.
And from the outside looking in, racerboy seems to have a problem with wing, it's that obvious. I actually remindes me of my cousin, I could never say a thing with out him saying something back that he himself knows shouldnt of been said at all.
And John, I guess you know situations with these two individuals, but, to me he needs to leave her alone |

That was very unsessessary to say to a 14 year old who was just replying to a thread. He was telling me about it eariler, when he just came to me upset telling me a rude comment was made twords him.
Well, now I remember you now, from the SR forums. I was on there often to check out people and whats new with the site and I saw you make some really nasty comments, but it's maily towards winggirl. You never just "comment or opinion" you seem to go in at the right time and attack her in some way, which is very inappropriate. You dont think you are but so many notice and if they dont that means they dont care and their no different than you. I was brought up to respect others, you were not.
Now I'm glad I didnt let my brother join because of people like you. And I bet you couldnt let this go and you'll have a comment fitted for you
I also noticed she has stopped and moved away from this so should you |

yes but even if you have the extra cash driving a car completely different from the one you drive on a track that is nothing like your track isn't going to teach you anything you can use unless you move into a car like the one you were "taught" to drive, and drive on a track thats like that one you were being taught at. Learning by yourself or with a veteran at the track is 100% better, you see how the track changes, how the set up and grooves change when they water it. I learned more in 1 race day from being around the track and the veterans who know the track better than the back of there hand than i ever could at a racing school! why pay $800 or so dollars to learn something you can learn for free?
And if those guys teaching you are SO GOOD then why aren't they in nascar or WoO or USAC winning and making the big bucks? |
