This question is not just targeted at the webmasters and my fellow web marketers. So, let us first analyze it from the perspective of a layman surfer. When you search the internet for something, it is understood that you wish to receive the latest news. For instance, when you type in the ‘best Valentine’s day gift for women’, you look forward to receive the latest ideas. The Google freshness update ensures that every user receives up to date content for the relevant keywords.
Now, let us check if it will affect us, the internet marketers during SEO. Personally, I don’t think there is a problem that the update can create as I am all for the idea of offering current information to the users. All we need to do is to post fresher content on our websites and blogs that would directly help in better ranking. So, users who are clinging on to the stale content should fear this update.
