As far as the Contracts go.. Vicarious Motorsports Inc (the real SR) is responsible. The problem is Jim has taken all of the contracts to his home (i assume). Even if there was money right now to purchase everything that is owed BY CONTRACT... I dont have any of the files |
I hope you guys get something worked out and soon. He has all of our social security numbers and after this whole ordeal I really don't trust anyone, especially with my personal information. _________________ brokeassracing@ymail.com

I do sympathize with that.. I woull not be happy either. The only thing that could be done is to demand that they are stored according to federal and state laws... Not having any access to them I am not sure what to say |

Are"they" really so stupid as to try to do something with someones SSN?If they take control, big if there, of Starvingracers.com, they are gonna have enough legal issues to deal with as it is.I really don't think they are that stupid as to try something with the numbers, or smart enough to know what to do with the numbers. This of course is just my opinion, I really don't know what they are capable of, it seems they are stooping pretty low at this point. _________________ www.starvingracers.forumsland.com

i honestly do not think Jim would... I have my opinions on him..but dont think he would do anything like that. If they are in his possesion I would guess they are fine. |

OK so i saw the thread about a monthly membership...I really appreciate the idea..and the support..but i could not and would not take any of your money, because there is no gaurantee you would ever see a return on it. |
Jason,
I think the majority of the folks here would agree..Your family obligations come before anything else
Having said that the pole I posted about gifts was not entended to be any kind of membership fee, I am against that.
The idea was to bring in some funds to support the hosting cost, which in my mind would help to accomplish a couple of things..first it would get the site backup and allow the forums to be alive again. The benefit of that would be that the posting/blogging would be under the SR domain and thus make it more visable ie active to prospective investers/sponsors. Which could in turn would suport the SR community by allowing the point system you had in place to start back up.
Agian my though was to merly get the site opperational to enable the blogging to contiinue under the SR banner, I would agree with you that some should not have to donate to be a member of the site.
Again no membership due of any kind just asking if the community would donate for the express purpose of having the site up.
Without knowing or realy wanting to know the specifc legal aspects that you would have to work through, I am just wondering if you would be open to such a thing once you have control in hand? |

Jason I have a question for you. I don't know if you can answer, but when you told me that my part was ordered Crankshaft), was it really ordered and not payed for or what was going on with it. I'm just curious. I already bought the part and my motor is back in and running good. |
