Yeah like John who's owed over $850 for a kart chassis!
Are we saying he had $850.00 donated towards the chassis,or is just owed a chassis?
He's actually owed $850 for a kart chassis that another racer was awarded through SR that SR was supposed to pay John for! _________________ Rob Gray

Jason,
When you get a chance check your PMs and let me know if what I suggested in PM is needed. |

Hope you have a good trip down here Kristen.Temps are gonna be great 60s and 70s but suppose to rain, with maybe some severe storms. Just thought I would let you know so you know how to pack.~~~Jerry~~~ _________________ www.starvingracers.forumsland.com

To those that question my motives.
I live in Jason’s home town (he doesn’t live here anymore, about an hour north now) he and my son have had several of the same teachers in grade & middle school and have joked about that fact.
I have talked to Jim, twice. Jason gave us all the phone number.
I have also talked w/ & know Johnny, we camp together once in a while in the dez and go riding.
I will not speak for any of them but I have rattled the cage all the way around so don’t accuse me of not trying the others. Dont know the other two but at this point I dont care either.
Like I said, too close to it all.
I tried to handle this privately, through PM’s and office visits, but after the meltdown and everything went “public” I got irritated, then I found this place, read a lot of it and lost my cool.
My apologies.
For every one of us complaining about money there are 3? 5? people that are not. Like some racers that are sick of the way they are being treated by a race promoter, that racer lets his feelings be shown silently not showing up any more. The same thing is happening here “trust me”, those people are hard to get back.
After a long talk w/ my wife, my son, & my sons fans/donors I am taking their advice.
I offered to reimburse them for their donations, they all said;
“Keep your money, buy his award, chalk SR up to experience, and move on.”
Good advice, I’m taking it. I’m paying for the award, and writing off my experience here. Lesson learned, something for nothing never really is nothing, everyone paid for it in different ways and I’m done being upset about it. The program is a great concept, I hope it comes back in some form.
If I pissed you off, good. If you’re pissed at me, your anger is misplaced. There’s Jason, there’s Jim, those other two guys, and in the middle is the truth, argue that.
At least Jason is on here publicly giving his side while the others are not.
Jason, if you can turn it around and get SR going again you will be a super hero. You face an extremely tough up hill battle and for the sake of all the racers involved I hope you can do it. I sincerely mean it, good luck.
I extend the same good wishes to Jim, Will, & that other guy. I hope it all gets worked out.
I apologize to the fans & racers for the behavior they have witnessed, both mine & the children in the SR sandbox.
I wish all you racers good luck with your up coming seasons, & good health, especially the MX’ers and parents of them. You guys go buy Leatts, EVS RC1’s, the A-Stars version, or at least a support and race within your ability. I’m tired of reading about permanent injuries.
LB wrote a great article about ability over at MXA this week, go read it.

OK so i saw the thread about a monthly membership...I really appreciate the idea..and the support..but i could not and would not take any of your money, because there is no gaurantee you would ever see a return on it.
Due to the ummmm "stuff" that has been going on.. I am going to hold the domain name and see what there next devious move is.. You wouldnt believe the one that happened last night or this morning.
I am just going to look for a regular job, and be a regular person for now.. I have to support my wife and son.. |
