With the amount of drivers and riders you had, if you were to get it back what about just charging a monthly membership to blog, then once the financing is in place, begin again with the points?

that is a good idea...but charging the racers completely goes agianst the idea of the program.. Ive never agreed with that at all... However it it ensured the survival of the program, I might consider doing it on and affordability type deal... that would take a lot of thinking about.

Jason,
Thanks for coming on and clearing up a lot of the thinking that was incorrect.
We support your decision, whatever it is and thank you for giving the boys a place to network with other racers. The idea of the membership is I believe that your work on the website was so professional that once prospective
sponsors went there they were sold on the program and wanted to help.

I have looked at a lot of websites and this was definitely the most professional looking.

Thanks again
Kirk Wright

10 a month is very doable, and you have something like 1600 racers?
16,000 dollars a month income.
Of course some people like me are fleaing credit cards like the plague so it would have to be money orders which would be quite bothersome. :O

You know its not a bad idea on a few levels, yes it goes against the basic premise of SR say at a membership of 40 dollars a year for the first year of membership to SR it could ease the initial financial burden.

That actually might work...charge each racer $1 a month or so, and there's already 1600 or so racers, right? That's the monthly bill for the site being online...plus some extra

But then again, a lot of those racers have bailed haha. I'm sure once you've started the program though that it would build up as fast as it did before.

the "drug stuff" as you refer to it is their attempt to discredit me i assume. I will admit I have not always been an angel. But I left that life behind in 1997 and joined the ARMY. I do not use drugs except for coors light. I have stated to all involved including jim that their accusations were B.S. and I would openly submit to a drug test at anytime to prove my point. I even offered to submit to a hair folicle test to show how long it has been. My only stipulation was that Brian, Will and Taylor do the same thing. I got no response
