Freshness Update’ this would be your answer. After the Panda update of Google with all the kung-fu strategies to kick out the plagiarized content, it is now the freshness update to eliminate stale content. Well, this is surely one of the best updates that I have ever come across. The more recent your website content is, better are your chances for topmost search engine rankings. However, there has been more than one change made recently. Let us take a glance at this.
1. With one of the latest updates, Google has decided to focus on the text in the main content and ignore the sitewide template text while creating snippets.
2. It seems that there is no much emphasis on duplicated link anchor text. These are being considered as irrelevant.
3. Even though it is unknown whether it is through the detection of filename, date, size or image itself, it is sure that image copies are being detected. This could change the existing SEO strategies greatly.
