I was told by deriann cheryl was in a bad accident during a race. I called and talked to someone and they said that during the race, the guy in front of her got airborne, came down and she hit him, she had no where to go.
She was air lifted to a hospital where she underwent sugery. She's got a rod in her leg and some pins as well.
I'm hoping to get a call soon from her, he said he'll make sure when she's up to it she'll call.

I got this from her the other week.

Good evening guys.

I have been home now for about 3 weeks. While up at our Grand Nationals in June, I was in an accident, yes I said accident. I was airlifted to JPS hospital in Fort Worth and spent 13 days there. Again, I am at home and doing OK. Taking one day at a time.

I have a plate, rods and screws in my left knee and tibia. An external fixator in my right foot, and wheelchair bound for anther 10 - 11 weeks. I can't wait to get back out in the kart again. So, I have been putting updates on a couple of our karting forums and thought that I would send it to you guys as well.

I hope that all of your racing is going well and you guys are all bringing home the gold. Keep the faith cuz I have not lost it.

Ok, this is just the latest update in the wheel
