Happy Sunday morning,
Had to work yesterday, so I missed the race. From the replay at 4:00 a.m.
it looks like I didn't miss much. So the real news is, how did Ray's 1st race go? For some reason local racing seems so much better than the Nascar races are with all the commentating that goes on. Well today is off to church and family time, as its back to work tomorrow. It's hard to believe that Easter is next weekend. Oh well enough rambling, hope everyone has a great Sunday and remember the reason for the season.

Kirk

Yesterdays winner: ***SS99*** was first on and 3127_ wins the Consi
congrats to both of you!

Today's question:Can you name three rooms in the White house named after colors?

Hey good morning our race wasnt all that great. I got a good draw for the heat but they changed the turns a little making them flatter. and i was way to loose to start I ended up 5th in the heat and started 9th in the feature we tightend the car up as much as we could and it was a lot better for the feature. But you know how it goes when you start in no mans land it tough moving forward. I cooked the brakes!!! At 100 mph thats not that good but there was atleast a late caution letting them cool a little and i tried for a big move with 2 to go and i learned that race cars dont need wings to fly I had a few cars going into one on the restart and should have had atleast one more coming off 2 but the squirelly guy lost it and i went for a ride a quite high ride But we know what to expect next week now and i got a pic before any scuffing got done to the car so now i got a little work to do this week and am ready mentally for next week. I do beleive i got a car thats very capable of winning there since the top ten just looked like a mob of cars but it was fun

Congrats, Ray at least you got the first one under your belt and as they say, "And he walked away" (LOL) The nice thing is you know what you are contending against this year.

Was starting to worry that the laptop in the bathroom, fell into the sink and created too many fireworks to answer the question for the day(LOL)

hope the game went well, just would like a day where we could be outside around here!

Now that's funny! Very Happy I tried to get on before church, but the stupid internet wasn't working! then when we got home from church, it still wasn't working!! so when we got home from my soccer game we went to my cousins b-day party and by that time , well, screw it!! I'm late!! Maybe I can get lucky and get the consi 2 nights in a row!

Yeah, the game went well. We won 4-2!! My engine builder says if I get hurt playing soccer ,"He will REALLY hurt me"! Gotta keep the man happy, he's my biggest supporter!!!

Good Monday to you all,
Had a late start as I was up until 1:30 am trying to make sense of the personal finances since the wife went to the doctor and has been told it will be another 2 weeks before she can go back to work. All I can say, is there is hope, somewhere. I found an awesome program called Mvelopes that helps you sort your budget into pockets so that your spending out of the categories rather than a lump sum and figuring out who gets paid. I hope this will help, on paper it sure makes sense.
Well we are 1 week closer to the real races, Rob and DHoltz and Ray was this weekend, anyone else starting soon. Nascar in Texas was good, not great as I was hoping Johnson would take Gordan, but Jeff did good.

Have a great day,
Kirk
Here's yesterdays winner: ***SS99*** with ***Winggirl winning the Consi

The weekly winner was a tie between SS99, 3127_, and Jman26 so pm me with your answer to this for the tiebreaker

Tie Breaker question:Why was Easter Island called "Easter Island"?

Todays Question for all:What is the origin of the word "Easter"?

The word "Easter" is named after Eastre, the Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring. A festival was held in her honor every year at the vernal equinox.

Hope I beat someone today!!
