Just wanted people to know that everyone who donated to my son that wanted their money back got it and while I appreciate the refunds they included some immature & derogatory comments directed at my (14y/o) son or the person (fan) requesting the refund. Very professional way to run things. If you saw my previous post that was one example of what is being said.

My son was also banned from the program with the comment "There are hundreds of racers that will take his place."

Banned Laughing , why & from what? He did nothing wrong, he’s a 14 y/o kid who worked the program by the rules was rewarded for doing so. The adults didn’t trust how/where there money was going when SR melted down & wanted it back.

At close on his way to his second goal he left behind 6247 points, you all know what it takes to earn that. Those points combined with the exposure we've given SR I figure someone owes us (Dr. Evil) one million dollars. Laughing so the refunds and being banned I guess is a wash.

What sucks is now I will have to continually look over my credit score shoulder as someone still has my Social Security Number. They still have yours too so be careful.

Jason, for what is worth, I don’t believe the comments made on the refunds were from you, they are immature & out of character from the guy I sat with in your office at SR.

That’s it, were out, the stickers came off the car last night. Sad how it all worked out, I hope for those who stick around & have money in it or awards due that they pay off. It is a great concept, I hope it survives.

I wish every one of you racers a good season and if you’re one of the guys that gets to race in the Chili Bowl, I’m jealous. That race I saw on Speed last night looked like a blast.

Doug

I don't even know what to say...if that's the case, and Jason's not in control, looks like I'll be getting rid of all my stickers too...that's ridiculous

I dont think they will, at least not your hardcore supporters (ME)

Look at the bright side, when Jason gets it back we should all be on the V.I.P. list Laughing

Hey Matt , Read back about 5 pages and you'll be up to speed with what's going on. I'd have to say not right now tho. I'd make other arrangements.

I solved this problem by keeping my credit bad.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to get on sooner, but wish you and your family well Jason and I hope maybe you can get this all worked out in the end. Very sad thing with the shutting down of the site and with the family and friend matters. Thanks for coming through for me when I was in need of my parts, really appreciated that.

Yeah but eventually the site will grow back to what it was..(even under the circumstances) The way i see it.. as long as they will be giving out free parts, then people will come...

I just hope they get their stuff together and either let jason buy them out or take over the site and give the people what they want.. and give the people who earned their goal before the shutdown their stuff..(ive held off on buying my helmet before i know for sure that the site is going to go down for sure)...

you know, I said before that I probably wouldnt go back to the site if Jason wasnt running it, but the way things are going now it might be my only choice to get a new helmet, which, after the incident where I broke my collarbone, I could kinda use a new one. However, I think I might just use part of the money from selling my DVDs and hats to buy a new helmet. I just have to sell a few more, well, quite a few more, to get the one I want haha

I already took my stickers off both my race cars and my truck. I've always had a rule that no sponsor sticker goes on my car before I have cash or services in hand. When I joined SR and read what it was doing for everybody else I went ahead and put the stickers on out of blind faith. I to have given SR alot of exposure at car shows as well as being on my everyday truck. I learned a lesson that I cannot trust anyone again and am going back to my rule of no sponsor stickers on my car before I get money, parts, or services in hand.

It would be nice if Jason would be able to get control and turn it back to what it is supposed to be but it doesn't look good at this point.

At close on his way to his second goal he left behind 6247 points, you all know what it takes to earn that. Those points combined with the exposure we've given SR I figure someone owes us (Dr. Evil) one million dollars. Laughing so the refunds and being banned I guess is a wash.

Not sure if you were serious... but if you were would you want support from (or represent) someone or something you don't agree with? I wouldn't.

To me sponsorship is more than just parts or $$$, It's a partnership of racers and supporters helping each other.

Well said!!!
Jeremy

Thanks... I have not pulled the stickers off our karts but I am going to have our web-master pull the link for SR off our site until I see what happens... As someone else said I don't want my sponsors to feel this is who we associate with. At least now right now...
