Looks like a few of you stuck around! So how's everybody doing? Haven't been on here in a while. I've been pretty busy with school and racing. Finals week was pretty hectic for me because our first race was that weekend. But I ended up doing pretty well and I have a 3.77 GPA after my freshman year of college.
As far as racing goes, the story has pretty much been rain. We've been rained out 3 times, and whenever we don't get a rain out the track ends up rough because of all the rain during the week! But I've finished 6th, 1st and 7th in the 3 races we've ran this year.
So what about the rest of you, how's the season going?

most likely and im not being optimistic either, this year im going to race the arenacross event, thats it, thats all I have money for lol
but next year Ill have most of what i need done and can start playing around a bit more.
Ive been riding the local motocross track and now i want to pick up a cheap 2stroke for that, my desert bike is just too heavy lol.
most likely though Ill just pick up the plastic pieces from its motocross version and do swaps lol.
glad you came back, your blog was always the most intresting. |

I always tried to make my blog worth reading. I'll tell ya one thing I don't miss about SR, staring at a computer for 2 hours straight!
But, I'm glad to hear you'll be able to race next year. Heck, it looks like you won't be too far behind on races this year compared to me! We can't catch a break with the rain up here. _________________

Up that to about 6-8 hours, and you've got me...
Oh wait, I still do that...
Well, I get on and off a lot, so its not 6-8 hours straight haha _________________ Jared Bolton

yeah, i try not to be reminded too much of how valuable SR was, so I dont really get on either one much anymore.
Especially on the infinity arts sr site. I have to look at the points goal I met and never got what I requested.
Hopefully my ragged out boots will hold up a while longer. I guess they will, Ive been wearing them since 05 haha _________________ Jared Bolton

Yep, know what you mean Jared! I hate looking at my points too. I feel so bad for John and the other guys that didnt get their stuff or donations returned. I am still waiting on some shirts, but oh well, not much to complain about when you think of Johns situation.
$$$ is real tight here....my driving shoes have a giant hole on the insides of each of them, and now I am having to wear socks. If I dont I would have my foot showing! ahahha hope your boots hold up!

Oh don't worry, I spend a lot more than 2 hours on the computer now that it's the summer. I just don't do it for 2 hours straight! lol

Sounds like you have a lot of bad luck! Maybe you can get the monkey off your shoulders(not anubis by the way ) and go out and win some races! Kinda like Mark Martin, blows two engines and now he's won two races

Haha, no kiddin! I made a rather large point goal and I hit it about a week before everything went down. It's really too bad, we don't have $720 to drop for a fuel tank.

Luckily we only had about $20 in donations. But 20 bucks is still 20 bucks! Do you ever visit 4cycle.com? They have a Pay It Forward thread over there and you might be able to ask if anybody has shoes your size. I've got a pair I could send ya, but I'm pretty sure they'll be too big! lol _________________

Actually I had a pretty crappy weekend First we went racing Friday night and tried to run two classes. Well everything went ok until the first feature. I was running 5th when the guy in front of me broke a chain on a restart. I ended up being turned by the guy behind me, and pretty much the entire field got a piece of my car! I'd say we tore up any where from $400-500 worth of stuff that night. Luckily, everything we tore up was bolt on parts and we had spares. So we put it back together and went racing Saturday. The car was a freakin rocket. It was one of those setups you dream of having-flatfoot through the turns and you never turn the wheel! I went from 5th to 3rd and was catching second in about 4 laps when the dang left front wheel came off. Needless to say, that tore up about another $200 worth of stuff.
I'll have to check, but I'm pretty sure the shoes I have are size 9(in guys). Sorry! _________________
